ATLAS Assessments. Reminder: ATLAS Assessments are April 23 (English), 24 (End of Course Algebra and Geometry), and 25 (End of Course Biology/Pre-AP Bio/AP Bio) for CFHS students! All 9th and 10th graders will take the English test; all students enrolled in the end of course exam classes will be tested as scheduled. Click here to learn more about how you can support your student. CFMS Test Celebration is Monday, April 22, from 1-3PM. We can't wait to celebrate CFMS students' hard work on the ATLAS state testing last week!CFHS College and Career Signing Day. Join us at the 3rd Annual CFHS College and Career Signing Day on Monday, April 22, at 9AM in the CFHS Gym where we'll celebrate the next steps toward success for the Camden Fairview Class of 2024. We're honoring seniors who have secured admission to colleges, trade schools, apprenticeships, or committed to serve in the military.
Fairview Elementary's Picnic with Parents is Thursday, April 25. FES families are invited to come make memories you and your child will cherish at our family picnic lunch on April 25! Feel free to bring a blanket or quilt. Kindergarten lunch is 10:30-11:00; first grade is 11:05-11:35; second grade is 11:40-12:10; and third grade is 12:15-12:45. A special photo with your child are available for $5. We can't wait to see everyone!
Kindergarten Cardinals Round-Up. Fairview Elementary is hosting a Kindergarten Cardinals Round-Up Day on Friday, May 3! Families with children who will be 5-years-old on or before August 1 are invited to tour FES, meet our kindergarten team, take your child's signing day photo, and receive assistance completing online registration. Cardinal Pre-K families from the Early Childhood Education Center will ride a bus to FES and begin their tour at 8:30AM. All other pre-k families are invited any time between 9AM and 2PM. 2024-2025 Lady Cardinal Volleyball. Mark your calendars for 2024-25 volleyball tryouts!
Tuesday, April 30 | 4:00 - 5:00 | 7th Grade
Thursday, May 2 | 4:00 - 5:00 | 8th grade
Wednesday, May 1 | 3:30 - 4:30 | 10th - 12th grade
Wednesday, May 1 | 5:00 - 6:00 | 9th grade
All tryouts will be held at the CFHS Gym. Participants must have an up--to-date physical and wear athletic attire (athletic/tennis shoes). If students are not dressed appropriately or if they don't have a physical, they will not be allowed to tryout. Free physicals are available during 7th period at CFHS on April 17 and at CFMS on April 24.
2024-2025 Cardinal Athletics Free Physicals. All student-athletes are required to complete a sports physical before trying out or participating in athletics during the 2024-2025 school year. Cardinal Athletics has two dates remaining for students to receive free physicals during 7th period. If your child is a car or bus rider, please be prepared to pick them up if their physical ends after regular dismissal times.

The AAA-required forms are available online at the Cardinal Athletics page and from head coaches. Please complete the History Form before the physical and send the student with both forms to the physical.

#CardinalPride - Congratulations to Camden Fairview Bands on their State Concert Assessment debut! The CFHS Band put on an impressive show to earn a 2nd Division Rating. Band Director Brandon Hughey said, “We’re eager to keep raising the bar. Athenia Dodds Named CFMS Dean of Students
We’re proud to announce that Athenia Dodds has accepted the CFMS Dean of Students role for the 2024-2025 school year! Mrs. Dodds has been a vital part of the CFIS and Ivory Intermediate team for the last ten years. She is dedicated to helping students and educators succeed and truly believes that together we can achieve anything. Mrs. Dodds currently serves as the Ivory Intermediate Dean of Students.

Chris Coker Named CFSD Science Specialist
We’re proud to announce that Chris Coker has accepted the role of District Science Specialist for the 2024-2025 school year! In this role, Coach Coker will assist teachers as they develop and deliver hands-on lessons that deepen students’ understanding of scientific principles. We are excited that Coach Coker will offer this additional level of support to our educators and students, and we can’t wait to watch Coach Coker in action! Debbie Snelgrove Named District GT Coordinator
We are excited to announce that Debbie Snelgrove has been hired as the Camden Fairview Gifted and Talented Coordinator for the 2024-2025 school year! Mrs. Snelgrove will be following in the footsteps of Mrs. Phyllis Burger, who is retiring after 19 years of service to the students and families of Camden Fairview. We’re grateful for Mrs. Burger’s commitment to providing enriching and challenging learning experiences for her students, and we’re excited to welcome Mrs. Snelgrove back to Camden Fairview in this important role!
Ms. Snelgrove has been an educator for nine years. She is currently a classroom teacher at Hampton Elementary, and she previously worked as a fourth and fifth-grade teacher at Camden Fairview Intermediate School. Please join us in welcoming Mrs. Snelgrove back to Camden Fairview!

Andrea Martin Named CFMS Literacy Facilitator
We’re proud to announce that Andrea Martin will be the CFMS Literacy Facilitator beginning in the 2024-2025 school year! Mrs. Martin has been an educator for 29 years, with 24 years of experience as an English Language Arts teacher. She’s spent the last three years as a K-12 Literacy Specialist and Coach.
Mrs. Martin loves creating hands-on activities to help solidify student learning and facilitate application of that learning. “I'm a product of Camden public schools and truly excited to be home and in a position to serve my community!” said Mrs. Martin.
