Important safety update from CFSD

CFSD update: Early Childhood Education Center, CFMS, and Ivory Intermediate were placed on a lockdown briefly this afternoon. This means students and staff were secured inside classrooms while police responded to a situation that occurred off campus which could have impacted campus safety.
This incident appears to be related to a family custody dispute, with one parent/guardian reporting that the other made threatening statements. Law enforcement determined there were no credible threats and determined it was safe to resume normal operations.
Administrators and law enforcement will continue to monitor all campuses.
