Let's Start With One Good Thing!

There's no sugarcoating it: FES students are wrapped in sweetness!

At January's Students of the Month Luncheon, students took a trip to Candyland! Students of the Month are chosen because they are someone who is attentive, kind, and diligent. They help out their peers when needed, listen to the speaker, and show up to school ready to learn.

We are so proud of January's Students of the Month! Keep being sweet!

Announcements & Reminders:

Good Luck, FES Cardinals! The Ouachita County Spelling Bee will be held Friday, February 13, at 1:00 PM at SAU Tech, and we are so proud of the Third-Grade Cardinals representing us!

  •  1st Place: Hunter Gill

  •  3rd Place: Vincent Cano

We know they will represent our school community with confidence and #CardinalPride!

Valentine's Day Gift Delivery Reminders: Camden Fairview will be accepting Valentine's Day gift deliveries for students on February 13. Deliveries should be made to the front office at each building by 1:00PM.  Balloons and glass items WILL NOT be transported home with students riding school buses. Please make sure your child’s first and last name and grade are on the delivery.

Join us next week at Parent-Teacher Conferences on Tuesday, February 17, or Thursday, February 19 from 3:30-6:30 PM! Please make sure you sign up for the time slot that best fits your family's schedule using the ParentSquare sign-up form sent by your child's teacher. We look forward to seeing you and celebrating your child’s growth together!

Reminders:
  • Attendance Matters! Please help support your child's learning by making sure they are at school on time and all day every day possible.

  • Add extra clothes to your child's backpack and put their name in their coat! Please keep an extra change of clothes (shirt, shorts/pants, socks, & underwear) in your child's backpack at all times. This is a big help if your child has an accident on the playground, at lunchtime, or in the bathroom!

  • No open-toed shoes. This includes flip flops, sandals, and slides – please make sure your child doesn't wear these to school. They can cause safety issues on the playground and don't keep little toes warm enough in the winter!

Readers are Leaders!

Check out the K-3 Home Guide to Reading Success!

At Fairview Elementary, we believe reading success starts with strong partnerships between home and school. To support our K–3 families, we’re sharing the Home Guide to Reading Success — a simple, fun handout full of easy strategies to help your child grow as a reader.
